Picnic Area

The picnic area is available for use by Parkside Residents. If you plan on having more than five (5) visitors, please reserve the picnic area using the online eForm.
2) Playground area move and Picnic area upgrade – In order to accommodate the expansion/ addition, the playground will be moved to the middle of the picnic area. Board volunteers have removed the black chain link fence, which was less than ideal. A new swing set, which will accommodate older children, will be added and will anchor the new area in the middle of the current picnic area. The picnic area will be expanded back into the wooded area. This has been cleared by board volunteers of brush (but not trees). Additional and replacement picnic tables and grills will be installed.
This will provide a much more appealing entrance area with the expanded picnic area extending into the shaded wooded area with an open view of the pond and an improved footprint layout for the playground. This have a positive impact on the desirability of Parkside as homeowner community, noticeable upon an initial drive through.
